SRC is a necessary process when converting material from one sampling rate (such as studio-quality 96 kHz or 192 kHz) to another rate (such as 44.1 kHz for CD or 48 kHz for video). I’d like to try to train 8kHz model trained directly on 8kHz data to compare its performance to model with 8kHz data upsampled to 16kHz.
